When is the final deadline for team registration?
Team registration for Canstruction Lethbridge 2026 closes on January 15th, 2026. We encourage all architectural, engineering, and design firms to register their teams early to secure building space at Centre Village Mall.
Who is eligible to form or join a competition team?
Participation is open to local professionals, post-secondary students, and community organizations. Each team is typically composed of 5-10 members and must be led by at least one design professional to oversee structure safety.
What happens to the canned food after the exhibition?
At the conclusion of the event, all sculptures are deconstructed, and 100% of the cans are donated to the Lethbridge Food Bank and Interfaith Food Bank. Every structure directly feeds families in Southern Alberta.
